As the Director of Arts Education at the four-time (2018, 2019, 2020, 2121) Southeast Emmy® Award winning ArtsBridge Foundation at the Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre, my mission is to bridge students throughout the entire state of Georgia to the arts in meaningful, significant, and life affirming ways.
PRIMARY DUTIES:
Providing vision, oversight, management, and coordination of large scale regional and state-wide arts programming & initiatives throughout the state of Georgia.
Establishing and maintaining strong relationships with diverse education and community-based organizations and leaders
Marketing and promoting dynamic arts programing & educational activities ​
Managing and controlling large-scale program budget & team​
Directing, producing, & managing the annual competition and live television broadcast production of the three time Emmy Award winning Georgia High School Musical Theatre Awards - aka The Shuler Hensley Awards​​

Fashioned after Broadway’s Tony Awards, the Georgia High School Musical Theatre Awards – Shuler Hensley Awards celebrate excellence in high school musical theater. The Awards are named in honor of actor/singer and Georgia native, Shuler Hensley, winner of the prestigious Tony Award, Outer Critics Circle Award and Drama Desk Award. The program embodies a spirit of camaraderie and celebration for the arts in high schools across Georgia. Atlanta’s Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre provides a beautiful, state-of-the-art home for the Shuler Awards. The Shulers are a part of the National High School Musical Theatre Awards – The Jimmy Awards® . The televised show won the 2018, 2019, & 2020 Southeast Emmy® Award for "Special Event Live Coverage."

Broadway Series Masterclasses:

Focusing on skill and talent development for both students and educators in the performing arts, these training opportunities include classes led by touring Broadway cast members, and professionals from Atlanta theatre companies.
